UC Berkeley is engaged in an ongoing process to provide restroom facilities that serve the needs of all members of our community to create an inclusive campus environment. While gender inclusive restrooms are now part of campus standards and are included in new campus buildings, converting existing multi-stall restrooms takes additional resources and so conversions will take place over time.
Below, you will find a link to a map of existing gender inclusive single-stall and multi-stall restrooms, accessible restrooms, menstrual product dispensers, and changing tables at UC Berkeley. Additionally, at the bottom of this page, you will find collapsible text-based lists with the same gender inclusive restroom information found in the map, including ADA accessible gender inclusive restrooms and restrooms with changing tables. For more information on the gender inclusive restroom conversion process as well as terms and definitions, please click on the corresponding tiles below.
